Starting now — Ghostbusters Day 2025 — through Ghostbusters Day 2026 and continuing in the years ahead, Sony Pictures invites groups around the country to have the opportunity to register their charitable work here. To supercharge their support, Sony Pictures will match all contributions up to $150k with donations to Starlight Children's Foundation to produce official Ghostbusters-themed hospital gowns.

Suit up and power up your proton packs—this time, we're busting ghosts and helping students and teachers in need! We're calling on all Ghostbusters Chapters across the country to unite for a heroic cause: collecting school supplies for students in our local communities.

With the collaboration of Ghost Corps, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and the Los Angeles Ghostbusters, the Starlight Children's Foundation developed the first of its kind Ghostbusters-themed Starlight Hospital Gown in 2022. Ghostbusters cosplay groups across the country raised over $40K to fund and hand-deliver the first 1,000 gowns to hospitals, and by 2025 have delivered 3,000 gowns to more than 50 hospitals across 25 states.

Ghostbusters Day is the annual celebration of the US release of Ghostbusters on June 8, 1984. Ghostbusters teams all over the globe have different ways they like to celebrate, and we want to hear from your team about what you're up to. Whether its a local screening or heading to NYC, this is meant to be an informative hub for all happenings worldwide. Join us in celebrating the 41st annual Ghostbusters Day!

As part of the Ghostbusters Day 40th anniversary celebration and fundraiser, The Buffalo Ghostbusters created The Ghostbusters Franchise Playing Cards, with fans selecting the logos through a voting contest.

Proton Pets, spearheaded by Ghostbusters, Virginia, is a worldwide initiative to support local pets and animal welfare in our communities. It strives to make a tangible difference in the lives of both pets and their owners by encouraging pet food donations and raising awareness about the importance of pet pantries.

Ghostbusters Toy Drive is a global toy drive initiative. Starts with an annual toy drive telethon hosted by NYC Ghostbusters and ending with a final count of toys by Ghostheads Radio, it is open to all.
